Injection Molding
Success in injection molding can only be assured when a robust manufacturing process is established and unexpected variations to the process are not permitted to occur. At Moraine Plastics, our facility is “purpose-built” to provide a stable environment for the manufacture of plastic parts. All aspects of product realization are closely monitored and controlled to ensure process consistency. Value-Added Capabilities
Moraine Plastics has developed a range of value-added capabilities to complement our core competency of injection molding. Many projects lend themselves to a “work cell” approach in which molded components are also assembled, decorated, machined or packaged in-line at the molding machine. In other instances the molded parts, along with other non-molded components, can be routed to our finishing area for final assembly. These “turn-key” manufactured solutions offer procurement efficiencies and substantial savings to our customers.
Tooling
Proper tooling is fundamental to successful injection molding. Moraine Plastics offers a wide variety of strategies for tooling success including our own jointly-owned mold shop. We also have proven relationships with 3rd party tooling suppliers both domestic and overseas. Moraine Plastics places major emphasis, and takes great pride, in our ability to provide you with the best tooling value for your needs.
Fulfillment
At Moraine Plastics, the focus of our fulfillment effort, and a cornerstone of our Customer Satisfaction Program, is our exemplary on-time delivery performance. Using a high level MRP system, our management team integrates the activities of material control, production planning and scheduled shipments. You can rely on Moraine Plastics to deliver your product when it is needed. If desired, we can support your just-in-time requirements with a vendor-managed or Kanban inventory program.
Quality System
The quality system at Moraine Plastics was originally certified to the ISO9000:2001 standard in 2002. Since that time our process for continuous improvement, along with regularly scheduled internal and external audits, has resulting in a quality system that grows increasingly robust with the passing of time. Moraine Plastics is prepared to satisfy all customer requirements for supplier quality management.
